With the ever-changing world comes adapting our approach to modern education. Most recently many classrooms have taken to online world with many different learning models and platforms. When experiencing a program with NESS you can rest assured that you will be hands-on and engaged in the material you are discovering. This holds true for our online experiential learning courses. Each course is designed with all learning styles in mind. We challenge students to ask questions, try something new, and dig deeper.

Our education team has designed a solid fleet of 17 courses ready to be brought to you, wherever you are! Whether you are at home, at school, in another state or even country, we welcome you on a NESS adventure. All courses are delivered in real time, led by a NESS instructor, and are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Ocean literacy Principles.

Just like we challenge our students we also challenge ourselves to constantly make our programs even stronger. We strive to give students the best experience that we can! We develop new courses and stay on the upswing of today’s technology and students’ needs. With this in mind, we are currently developing asynchronous courses. This lets students work at their own pace and complete learning assessments along the way to check for understanding of material.
