NESS and the Sailing Museum share the core foundational belief that sailing is an ideal platform for teaching social and emotional learning (SEL) skills and that those factors positively impact students' academic achievement. 

In partnership with The Sailing Museum, NESS offers:

- A weekly homeschool program, derived from the museum's interactive exhibits and hosted at the museum

- Ten school group learning experiences derived from the museum's interactive exhibits; including two NESS-designed and led class field trips to the Museum, with eight in-school experiential STEM lessons delivered in between
