These partnerships reflect our commitment to inclusiveness, accessibility, and long-term impact in the New London community.

The NESS Mobile Classroom

NESS is expanding our reach with the launch of the Mobile Classroom, powered by the City of New London. This fully equipped, state-of-the-art mobile STEM lab brings immersive marine science education directly to students, whether at a school, library, park, or community center.

New London Public Schools
Year-Round Schooling Break Programs

In partnership with New London Public Schools (NLPS), NESS offers experiential learning programs to explore and dive deeper into STEM concepts during the Year-Round Schooling Program breaks.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to providing students with enriching educational experiences that foster curiosity, teamwork, and personal growth. By working together, NESS and NLPS ensure that students not only have access to high-quality educational opportunities but also develop essential skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Year-Round Schooling Break Programs are available and FREE to students enrolled in the NLPS Year-Round Schooling Program.
Discounts will be applied during checkout.

New London Youth Sailing Programs

New London Youth Sailing Programs at Green Harbor do not require any sailing experience and provide a supportive environment where New London youth sailors can build and improve their sailing skills while learning respect for their fellow sailors, boats, and the water – all while having some fun.

This program is free for New London students. Students may register for one week of open enrollment sessions.

Learn to Sail & Intermediate Sailing Programs in New London introduce students to water safety on the docks and in an optimist trainer, while learning what it feels like to be on the water. Over the week, students are introduced to the different parts of the boat, knots, rigging, and steering.
