NESS STAFF VOLUNTEER 

NESS staff members are teaming up to volunteer throughout the community! As a nonprofit, NESS sees the impact organizations have on students, their families, and their communities, and we're committed to helping create positive change beyond the classroom.

By fostering a culture of giving back, we aim to inspire our students and broader audiences to support and improve our community. We believe in the power of education and community service to uplift individuals and strengthen the bonds that tie us all together.

Last week, our team started off the new year with our first volunteer event serving Operation Fresh Start - New Beginnings. Together, we organized donations to then build welcome baskets and toiletry bags that will be dispersed to students, young adults, and families in need throughout New London County.

About Operation Fresh Start – New Beginnings:
Helping is the right thing to do. People who are struggling reach out to us, and we find a way to meet their needs through donations from our generous community. Operation Fresh Start Inc. is a community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) charity serving our neighbors in New London County. We assist families with children in crisis, giving them a much-needed hand-up. We provide household items to set up apartments, backpacks full of necessary items for children, and a helping hand when needed. In addition, through various donation drives, we have provided many families with back-to-school supplies, diapers and baby wipes, toiletries, pajamas, gifts and toys for the holidays, and more.
