This past weekend NESS’s Mark Zagol, Tim Desmond, Drew Buttner were back at it sailing the Viper 640 New England Championships down at Larchmont Yacht Club in Larchmont NY! Here are the final results.

“After a tricky day 1 with 60 degree shifts, we found ourselves sitting in 3^rd place after 5 races, but well within striking distance of the leaders. With steadier breeze on Sunday, 5 more races were completed where we notched a 2, 1, 1, 1, 2 to take home the title, 10 points ahead of 2^nd place.”

This October, Mark will have a busy sailing schedule this October representing NESS! On October 9th-11th, he was selected as one of 19 to compete in the US Sailing Championship of Champions – an event you must hold a current National Championship title to be considered for!

October 21-25 they head down to Gulfport, Mississippi and will then ship the boat to New Orleans for a winter series which finishes with the Viper 640 World Championships held out of Southern Yacht Club the end of March.
