Get outside and on the water with NESS’s action-packed after-school programs! Designed for students of all skill levels, our programs offer hands-on learning and outdoor fun through surfing, swimming lessons, kayaking, sailing, and sport fishing.

Whether trying something new or building on existing skills, students will gain confidence, make friends, and explore the coastal environment in a safe, supportive setting. Join us after school and turn the shoreline into your classroom!

Marine Mavens: Empowering Young Women on the Water

Marine Mavens is an all-female program designed to inspire, challenge, and empower young women through hands-on marine recreation and ocean science adventures. Led by experienced female instructors at NESS, students explore STEM on the water, gain valuable skills, and discover exciting career paths in the maritime and seafaring industries.

From sailing and kayaking to marine science investigations and behind-the-scenes industry tours, every session blends adventure with education.
