AmeriCorps

NESS SEA AmeriCorps is a proud member of the AmeriCorps National Service Network. The program is supported by the Connecticut Commission on Community Service, a partnership between the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.

NESS SEA AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps members serve with purpose at NESS, teaching experiential STEM lessons and mentoring students to build social and emotional skills like perseverance, communication, teamwork, and confidence.

Since 2014, NESS SEA AmeriCorps members have provided classroom and community support by engaging learners through hands-on programs, inspiring students to embrace the ocean, take on new challenges, and become positive environmental stewards.
