Shop sustainably and support NESS! Second Serve Resale is a nonprofit resale community that promotes clothing reuse to benefit our communities, the planet, and local nonprofits.
When you shop their curated collection of donated clothing online with promo code “NESS”, 85% of your purchase goes directly to our mission.
It's a win for you, the environment, and our students!
WBZ’s Nichole Davis shares the stories people are talking about in your community each weekend — including this feature on our partners at Second Serve Resale.
Pawtucket's “Second Serve Resale” Creates Community Impact from Closet Clean-Outs:
As resale sites grow in popularity, Second Serve Resale, based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is standing out. Not only does it connect customers with gently loved designer pieces, but owner Amy Hebb goes a step further: shoppers choose which charity receives 85% of the purchase price — from local food banks to international women's organizations.
In this episode, Amy talks with Nichole about building community impact through sustainable fashion and the growing movement toward giving clothing a second life.
“Art and NESS have a lot in common for me — experiencing something outside your comfort zone, and knowing that you are in a safe environment to learn and have fun. Students leave NESS with a sense of empowerment, believing that they ‘can.’ This feeling has never been more important. Any of my work that gets sold, I will donate 100% of the proceeds to NESS.” – Spike Lobdell
