Upcoming Event: Water Works STEM Carnival
Grab your family and join us for a morning filled with fun, hands-on, STEM activities that are sure to excite kids of all ages!
The New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) and New London Recreation are teaming together to host an upcoming STEM Carnival, Water Works, on Saturday, February 26th. From 10AM – Noon, families will have the opportunity to participate in over 16 hands-on STEM activities, raffles, prizes, and a photo booth.
These STEM activities will include Marshmallow Engineering Challenge, Take Home Bird feeders, Learn How to Cast with a fishing pole, Salt Dough Ocean Animals, Take Home Ocean Puppets, Build ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles), Recycle Regatta participation, and Learn How to Tie Sailing Knots.

– Mentoring Corps for Community Development

– US Coast Guard Academy
